Is there a specific word for that particular thing companies do before they got sold to brighten up their balance sheets? You know, new CEOs, reducing manpower, assigning more duties to less people, cutting raises and all that?
Because my company's doing that right now and it feels so familiar.

@kyonshi I don't know if it's "official" but I feel that Pump & Dump should cover it.
