@ErickaSimone heh, me too, i was being good since the 1at but just decided i wanted to finish off the eggnog and add a healthy amount of Korbel brandy. Ill start again tomorrow.
I have some friends who do a dry february, because its the shortest month
. They are drinkers and the way they figure it is if they cant make it a month without alcohol then they have a problem, which seems like a logical risk management practice@raven667 Haaahahah. This is exactly why I dry January. Not only is it a good break for your body, you’d better be able to say no to anything and everything for at least a month. Except basic food and water. lol.

They are drinkers and the way they figure it is if they cant make it a month without alcohol then they have a problem, which seems like a logical risk management practice@ErickaSimone in my case we had my sister-in-laws family over for dinner and i was stressing about having the house clean and presentable because they will absolutely talk shit about me behind my back and use it for ammunition the next time my wife and her sister fight.
Then my MAGA dad posted some absolute bullshit on FB (which i dont want to repeat aa ill get mad all over), which my sister thought to forward to the group chat (that doesnt include dad so his pwecious fefees dont get hurt, and so he doesnt take it out on mom or something), and it really pissed me off so i used some colorful language and said my dad is an asshole who has chosen evil, and my other sister dissolved and closed the group chat. My other sister still talks to my dad, so i guess she got her undies in a twist, but she has also been stressed (planning her wedding) and not found a good outlet for her frustration so xmas visit was tense too.
Oh well, i dont know why im sharing all this (probably the brandy kicking in, and adhd meds wearing off), i wish you a peaceful night.
