    Woke up to rather personalized
    #spam in my mailbox.

    So #socialdb is looking for influencers.

    > X-PM-Tag: outreach-influencer

    And yes that is sender SPF authorized and passed DKIM.

    > dkim=pass (1024-bit key; unprotected) header.d=socialdb.xyz

    It's also riddled with tracking.

    Be influenced: Block[ed] this shit.

    How? I guess it webfingered my blog, which is tied to my indieweb profile referenced here. It didn't pick up on the AP profile of the blog but used it's mail address.

      @bekopharm Got the same thing; came searching the Fediverse to see if it's pure spam or an authentic platform doing some misguided marketing. Looks like it's the former. Ironic that they don't even have a presence on Mastodon…

            @bekopharm

            I think I know how they're getting the email addresses, it isn't very accurate.

            They spammed my website's email address, but they used someone totally different's name in the actual email. When I looked up the person's account on Mastodon, the person had put a link to my website in their profile as a recommendation. SocialDB saw the link to my site in the person's profile, and assumed the website belonged to them, so they tried to spam the person using my email address.
