          incidentally, this is why I really want any new phone I get to still have a dedicated macro camera. it's remarkably useful when you're an enthusiast of moths and electronic components.

                  @gsuberland Not completely unhappy with my S23's separate macro camera lens. (Hate Samsung's mandatory clipboard-sniffing keyboard that you can't get rid off, which will snoop the clipboard even if you don't use it. Biggest gripe with the phone, though).
                  I need to get out my Foldscope again at some point, to play around with microscopic on-the-go photography.
