@streetartutopia What's the different in effect between someone putting this up to satirize him and a nazi to put this up to idolize him?

@malte It doesn’t portray him in a positive light. It’s obviously derogatory. (It looks AI to me though. I’d love if it were real)@streetartutopia

@malte @streetartutopia It says “pour wankers”. That’s not typically an idolising word.

At least two things. First, #Musk would tell you his gesture wasn't a Hitler salute. Second, the works "Pour Wankers" make it clear what the artist thinks of anyone who emulates Musk.

@Pineywoozle This. And it says "pour wankers"
The ad may be produced with AI but the hanging is real: https://www.thelondoneconomic.com/news/searing-elons-musk-ad-appears-on-london-underground-390461/ It is part of #TeslaTakeDown an international protest action. https://www.teslatakedown.com/ -

@vitor You're right! People like me who did not get the fine text might not see it. It's not ambiguous if you do though.

@CppGuy Musk would. But the Nazis who celebrated his salute wouldn't. The second part I didn't see, thanks for pointing it out. It wasn't obvious to me.

@malte Another hint is 1939: The begin of the world war, when the allies started to fight Hitler.
And musk ... although it's one of the finest and most important fragrances in perfumery (only strongly diluted), pure musk is very stinky, the musk gland looks like a cut scrotum ... You can't stand the pure odour, which is almost cadaverous.

@NatureMC These are pretty ambiguous elements as you point out yourself. Overall, this piece is a bit like making a huge swastika and then writing something ambiguous that clever street art analysts get but illiterates like me don't get.
