Old friend (40yrs) asking me for advise getting an #llm running locally on a phone. He mentioned its personality, which I queried, pointing out LLMs don't have one. He insists it's real, not far from sentient, and started talking about consciousness transfer as a soon to exist thing.
Replied asking him to be careful because AI psychosis is real and dangerous. He decided to tell me his new business plan was partly designed by the LLM...

@wokstation You should possibly tell him that legally things designed by bots cannot be IP protected. If nothing else will give him pause - and it probably won't - maybe that will...
