I saw neither "28 Years Later" nor "Small Soldiers" & after this I'm only interested in the watching the latter, not based on story but on... heart?

Look, no amount of perfect (?) visuals can save another tired Zombie Jump Scares & Gross-Outs️ cliché. It's utterly non-compelling to me.

OTOH, TS starts from a cool story concept & the visuals are built in service of that & that's why it holds up 28 years later.
