We bake them in butter, knead the dough by hand, and wait for it to rise. We roll it out, and then layer it with a flavored buttery filling.
Working with yeast dough is incredibly sensual. Properly kneaded dough transforms from rough to fluffy, eagerly accepting a caring hand. The more you squeeze, the more receptive it is to touch.
