@inthehands

Bovino, "commander-at-*large*"?!?!I don't *want* to make a short joke. I really shouldn't. I'm trying not to.
But I just can't *be the bigger man*.

@ZenHeathen @inthehands neither can he!

They’re afraid. Hit them harder.
“top Republican candidate for Minnesota governor has dropped out of the race”
“‘I cannot support the…stated retribution on the citizens of our state, nor can I count myself a member of a party that would do so.’”
“‘National Republicans have made it nearly impossible for a Republican to win a statewide election in Minnesota,‘ he said”
“calling ICE operations in the state an ‘unmitigated disaster’”

Don’t stop. That’s how they got this far. They never stop pushing. In all directions. -
Yeah I doubt he'll retire
That's just a cover story to get attention off him for a while
These are *all* pathological liars
cc @inthehands
@FinchHaven @rubixhelix @inthehands
Or, he'll retire to the private sector

“Bovino worked outside his agency’s chain of command and appeared to relish his role as a political actor”
“sudden demotion”

Anyone else see his white power salute?

@Maxfieldripken @FinchHaven @rubixhelix
Eventually he’ll retire to hell, where I hear ICE melts -
My latest calls included: “Fewer agents is not enough. More oversight is not enough. Demoting people is not enough. Destroy ICE and CBP. Wipe them out. Burn them, bury them, and salt the earth. Eradicate them like a cancer.”
@inthehands ICE DELENDA EST

I'm in awe of what the Minnesota community is achieving. Thanks for all the thinking and sharing you're doing.. it's so important for folk right across the world at this time to understand what is happening, and to clearly see and hear that the solution is to build and support communities to stand together and resist this evil.

@inthehands Am I being jaded if I think that this will only mean that the Dems will now field the most right-wing candidate they can find?

@inthehands They shouldn’t be able to win in any race. What they have done and allowed to happen is beyond disgusting.

@Soulshine
It is •definitely• not too late. One year in, we are still in the “consolidating power” of the authoritarian takeover — “still in” meaning it has •not• succeeded yet, implying it can still fail. And honestly, it’s looking •less• successful now than it did 6 months ago. -

Yes. Their increasing physical aggression is a sign of weakness, not of progress. I still stand by this now: -

Maybe it was more of realization that midterms results did not look promising. And I can't discount that it is just arrogance that led him to believe he could do it in just a year.

@smattymatty @inthehands @Soulshine And even if in some moment it does become “too late”, it’s never a one way door.
Critical mass can be built to once again make it tenable. Look at history, people have lived under lords at many different times and places. That doesn’t mean that once it’s so, it cannot be undone.

I think that's a pretty accurate analysis.
They did a competent job with their unprecedented ideological cleansing during his first term but they're fumbling the ball now. -

I honestly do not think he has any idea what he is saying anymore. And if the NRA and libertarians turn on him, they will make the upcoming GOP primaries all about the Second Amendment.
