Danish consumers have started to boycott U.S. products. UdenUSA, an app to identify U.S. products is now 4th most popular in the App Store.

@johnnyryan Great. But try completely not using US products from Amazon, Apple, Meta, Microsoft … and all that infrastructure. 🥴

@Rastal @johnnyryan I don’t know the situation in Denmark stores but here in Canada in my own supermarket I have been able to purchase Canadian made products and even European ones. If I have to purchase something American, it’s because there really is no other choice. Example—Dawn Powerwash—it really does a good job cleaning grease and there is no substitute yet. It takes a bit of work but I’m sure you can do it!

@Lpm1 @Rastal @johnnyryan it's been pretty easy for me to avoid US products. Sure, sometimes it's not obvious or complicated (like Coca Cola which is licensed to a Danish brewery - but still there are 100% Danish or EU alternatives). Even payment the norm is a combined VISA card and Dankort (national solution) debit card. Not sure why they make it seem impossible. Then again the person has a Union Jack flag in their profile.
