@maltita Perhaps one of the things I envy most in women's clothes are high-waisted pants. Why do more men's wear brands not make high-waisted pants??

Women often latch on to men's wear and men's fashion trends - to an extent that we often do not even notice it as "men's wear". The opposite is much more rare. When men browse the women's section, one takes it as "cross-dressing".

I envy the range of shapes and colors in women's clothes, but struggle with the sizes and especially the fit. Fediverse, what brands do you know of that make something like "women's clothes for men"?

@malte > to an extent that we do not even notice as "men's wear"

until you're describing someone who's transfem and then you get people misgendering her, blaming it on her being too masc and a sprinkle of her claiming she's boymoding or whatever

        this applies to enbies too

Speaking of the color restrictions in men's wear ... Just a moment ago I have another man shouting at me on the street. I'm wearing a pale yellow shirt. A man shouts: What's that shirt - white or yellow? I respond: This is yellow. Moments after I passed him, he shouts: Wear a white one next time! (I don't say anything and just give him the finger)

@malte You and me both. The best I could come up with so far are colorful/hawaiian shirts and shoes, but that's about it, unfortunately. The "best" jackets are outdoor jackets, because you might be able to get a red one.

              It's really sad.

@malte I love browsing Vinted for certain colors and styles. As Engelbert Strauss was mentioned. They have a lot of basic items in bright colors. I have quite a collection of them in pink an turquoise and wear them at least once a week in the office.

                https://www.vinted.de/items/4193579931-engelbert-strauss-jacke-fleecejacke-motion-2020-ladies-l-pink

As I am tall, I also wear sometimes minidresses as T-shirts.

@maltita I know! I've been eyeing trousers from Casatlantic. There are some brand that make medium-high jeans too, but it really is not common. Do you know any in particular?

@megsouth Very fun! I like the animal patterns. I wonder how the quality of the knit is when seeing it is produced in China.
