@GeePawHill I do this all the time. I think of it as "fan mail for regular people". I don't know how it affects them but it makes *my* life better. And, hopefully, it shores them up a bit for this world on fire, too.
You may or may not have seen the link I posted recently to an informed & deeply compassionate covid safety statement from a church in Vancouver. I email them to let them know how moved and how seen I felt by it. The pastor emailed me back today and now I'm in tears again.
