@rtw Where would one buy such a t-shirt? My Google-fu is, as is usual in this late stage internet time, letting me down

This fucked up every single facial recognition program both the Mexican and US passport control areas to the point that agents for both countries had to pull me aside and verify my identity the old fashioned way.
So t-shirts with big faces on them don't work well with AI Facial recognition systems. Figured that would be interesting information around here.
@rtw Nice! I must dig out my old Frank Zappa shirt with only Zappa's face on it.

THIS ^^^ is the thread I, for one, needed to see today.
Robo shares a story of a T-shirt with a large picture of Werner Herzog that fucks with facial recognition, and a host of randos chime in with suggestions, encouragement, and amusement. -
Temu is an excellent source of cheap t-shirts with giant faces on them. Typically under $6 (plus $3 S&H).
It helps if you're a fan of Bruce Willis, Blues Brothers, or the Three Stooges.

@jakebrake @rtw I've never successfully bought something from Temu. I get sideswiped by the casino games and leave without buying anything.

@rtw
There was some work recently published, or at least let out into media, about patterns on cars and suchlike that caused mechanical recognition devices to ignore them.In WW2 the #photographer #LeeMiller's husband #RolandPenrose, a #surrealist artist, worked on camouflage, some of which was #dazzle, intended not so much to hide the presence of a ship on the sea, as to confuse about how big far fast whence it was travelling, and so on.
#GreatDismal #SciFi author invented the #UglyTShirt

@rtw Are you sure it's faces plural? Maybe it's just Herzog's

@franklinlopez @hl @wendigo @jake4480 @rtw MY EYES! I NEED BLEACH!
-
@rtw If Herzog was that effective, I wonder what a Klaus Kinski shirt would do?
-
@UkeleleEric @Cal I did NOT know this, but this is now my favorite thing i’ve learned. Maybe ever.

@LappenjammerDieZweite You’re right we probably need a lot more research in this area.

️@airshipper @rtw i saw a guy get rejected entering a primus gig in nashville because his Doctor Rockso cosplay was too real (defeated cameras/facial recognition)
he had to wash his face paint off in the war memorial plaza fountains. a tragedy.

@rtw so what you’re saying is that we should start wearing T-shirts with the face of Musk, Thiel, Karp etc and then go do crime?
-
@rtw if we can do it without puking, we should all wear shirts with trump's face on them. Or maybe a morph between trump and one of the Kardashians.

@rtw My Gogo Yubari hoodie would be perfect for this. Could maybe fool them with my Uzumaki (Junji Ito) shirt.

@rtw I wonder if a large taylor swift face would trigger some backdoor like "VIP request: privacy; deleting logs"

@rtw Note to self: buy more shirts with faces on them. Actually, maybe some hats with faces on them too.
