Just one new garden species so far on this warm, overcast, & drizzly day. But it's a doozy ...

This is a white plume moth (Pterophorus pentadactyla). It has many names in German, but I like Schlehengeistchen, or little blackthorn ghost.

Hard to capture, hidden in the foliage, but well worth the effort
