@speculationfictive You *might* get around it via Bad Oldesloe and Neumünster. Today all the ECE trains started/ended in Neumünster.

Also it’s quite funny: had I escaped Haparanda yesterday, I’d have got caught by the line closure due to the bomb in Hamburg today

As it is the bomb *might* be clear by tomorrow lunchtime? 🤔

So I *think* you can get around the WWII bomb in Hamburg by routing Schleswig - Neumünster - Bad Oldesloe - Hamburg Hbf, and it even does not add *that much* time

Let's consider all of this again tomorrow morning! 🙂

@jon Based on what I know about Hamburg trainlines, that seems to be correct.
The train between Neumünster and Bad Oldesloe can get crowded if the track between Neumünster and Hamburg is closed without replacement busses

@jon This is quite common in Germany and routine, unless they encounter any issues with the bomb, the disposal team should be quick in disabling and removing it.

BTW how much did all of this cost?

                                    My workings are here:

It seems all passengers in your Copenhagen - Hamburg train will be locomotive drivers.. Must be something new DSB bought..

                                        Have a good night!
