Look, transit schedule boards are not affirmations - "Yes, the bus/is in fact arriving" - they're expectation alignment -"I can assume that the bus/train arrives at...".

Look, transit schedule boards are not affirmations - "Yes, the bus/is in fact arriving" - they're expectation alignment -"I can assume that the bus/train arrives at...".
If they change incrementally by the minute you can't expect anything - they might as well just say "the bus/train will arrive when you see it so stop asking".
Another mis-application of live data, defeating its own purpose.
