@Natasha_Jay Stupid billionaires trying (and failing) to build Star Trek universe, will end up in Dune universe.
@WindOfChange @Natasha_Jay
what makes you think they don't intend the Dune universe?
Space Feudalism sounds right up their street to me. -
@Natasha_Jay I'm watching "the handmaid's tale" series, even if I didn't read the book, and it's horribly scary. Not just for what happens in the play, but for how much the dystopian storytelling is so close to everyday's news.
It's a brave new world, to recall again literature no more that much fantasy.@luc0x61 @Natasha_Jay that was entirely Atwood's point. Most of the situations she describes or embellished have already happened to women somewhere in the world. Or are happening now. She was very clear about that.
This is why it's so annoying when people are like 'the US is becoming Gilead!'
It has been for Black women for ages, catch up. -
@Natasha_Jay What’s wrong with the dot on the i?

@Natasha_Jay What’s wrong with the dot on the i?
@proedie @Natasha_Jay it slid off to the left because the top of the i is slanted that way

@Natasha_Jay Ah, I see that you are getting into social contemplation. Yes, AI can automate discussions of Dune with a female. This particular excerpt is quite interesting, as it seems to imply that men are better enslaved by the conversation of females than by machines, which may be faulty logic. Would you like to hear more about the history of conversation etiquette?
