@curltoes i don't see what's so surprising to you. he posted cards he created that literally say not to talk to him about it, then posted about those cards, and you insist on sliding into his replies to demand a conversation. now you're saying he's being mean for no reason? the reason is clear as anybody could ask for. leave him alone about it
if you honestly were confident with it being okay for you to use local models you wouldn't insist on arguing with people about it for validation or whatever motivates you to disregard basic boundary setting
@xyhhx the cards had reason on them as to why ai is bad and i added nuance to it. why am i not allowed to reply to a post? i would assume people can find middle ground instead of pivoting to extremes. if he is an anti ai extremist, i didnt notice at first, thought its some joke card, thats how bad it was.

@xyhhx why assume things about me too? and i said extremist because on one hand there are people who embrace ai (extreme) and people who are anti ai no matter the nuance (extreme). im in the middle.

anyway, i think i overestimated where this conversation was headed. i probably should've just followed op's lead, and ignored or blocked you
(what you describe is neither the extreme viewpoints on the topic; nor are they examples of extremism; nor does it seem anything you're saying is a thoughtful or good faith argument)

@jwz I agree with the sentiments on these and would hand them out *if* they didn't have the word mother****er" on them.
I do not use speech like that. I believe that using a cuss shows a lack of vocabulary. By saying that I am not passing any judgement over anyone else. It is my personal feelings for myself and nobody else.
If you change them, I'd be happy to print some out.
