@eniko article writers are allergic to using stock photos or taking their own picture for some reason

@eniko I love those articles, they prevent time wastage by advertising this right at the top.

@eniko Then there's the ones where they just add some random image above every post, to which my question is: why?

@eniko - and the same goes if any of the other articles in your sidebar/links are about how useful AI is.

If someone can't be bothered to even just look up a free stock photo or something, I assume they didn't put much care into the writing, too.Not only that, but slop images give me the creeps. Worse, the more advanced the models get, the longer it takes me to put my finger on exactly why a picture is unsettling me. I'm not willing to put myself through that in the off chance the article is worth the discomfort.

@eniko @ThomHartmann keeps on tossing slop over the fence here and doesn't even read replies or do anything besides throw slop at us and people boost it right up.

Or watching your video, or your blog, etc. I've unsubscribed from a few YouTube channels. How can you claim to be a creator and then use a tool that has systematically ripped off other creators AND fail to support new creations?

I saw a blog post about being a writer and the photo-realistic-ish cover image showed a nice wooden desk, leather chair, and a manual typewriter on top of the desk. The problem was that the chair at the desk was BEHIND the typewriter. You have to sit in front of a typewriter to use it.
In another, there was a meadow with a rainbow. Nice, except the sun was also in the picture and if you're facing the sun, then the rainbow must be behind you. That's how rainbows work. You can look it up!
