This time they ran my script through an AI "podcast" generator (likely the free one by Adobe) and put it under the footage from my latest video.
When I make my videos, I spend hours travelling and filming on-location to get real footage that can't be found anywhere else.
Then these AI slop creators steal it and release it as their own.
About 90% of my exposure to "AI" these days is just slop farms ripping me off.

IMHO it should be in Youtubes own interest to block pure AI slop. If the platform becomes known to be flooded with slop, people will inevitably turn away and that means less revenue for them.

You do have to watch out for grumpy-old-man-syndrome as you age, but the enshitification of everything is real and *the algorithms* and AI have very much been a huge part of ruining it all.

I'm glad I can support my favourite creators (like yourself) on Nebula but this is far from a satisfying answer.
Without creators making interesing videos, youtube is just an empty box.
They really need to step up if it wants to protect its legacy and its future@noncandeggiare @notjustbikes I doubt they do. Just want to hoover up as much money as possible as fast as possible and don't care one bit.

YouTube is becoming flooded with this garbage and it's actively making the platform less viable for real creators to make real content.

atleast make an attempt to hide the slop videos while browsing youtube.(i'm one of the reviewers of slop submissions through that extension)

In the comments people recommend alternatives. Unfortunately, that's only for the users and doesn't prevent from steeling.
I had the same problem with my podcast: sometimes the audience consisted of more scraping bots than people. Young people told me that they could transfer my podcast into an AI video on youtube with ease! Or use a transcript with artificial voices. They could even scrape my voice for a very -
