Of course, there must be valid reasons for it. Still, this makes me a little sad.
I have a dormant Bluesky account and from time to time I check in and see them posting so much there.

@_elena I just ask people there, who really don't see a problem / risk in Bluesky, to turn on the fediverse bridge and tell them they can follow me via https://bsky.app/profile/erikkemp.voltnederland.org which is just a bridge of my account here

@lagrandecedre I was afraid also to not connect on Mastodon the right way (mostly not doing enough). But I decided I don't have to force myself to post. I just try to boost posts that I feel like they should be shared to others here.
Good engagement doesn't have to be forced, repetiive or loud, just genuine.
It also saves everybody's time and peace of mind.
