There may be a historical precedent we can use...@CdnCurmudgeon @JKrotkov Sort of. Temporarily. Immediately after they purged each other in an internecine slaughterhouse. Then went on to be subjugated by Napoleon who crowned himself Emperor, which kind of made the whole effort a moot point, eh?
...So perhaps more cautionary tale than prospective template. Besides, this is America. Our cultural tradition is a lot more immediately available. Nobody is ever that far from a tall tree & a short rope.
