It's reasonable that the executive has possibilities to bring people's status into question. Law enforcement would be quite impossible without.The two problems here are:
1) questions about people's status should be brought to the judiciary ASAP
2) They're not trying to enforce the law. -

2) They're not trying to enforce the law.@notsoloud It is - but it is not reasonable that citizens be required to establish identity arbitrarily. As a citizen of any nation you live freely within the borders as long as you aren't harming your fellow citizens & in order to accuse you of doing so there has to be probable cause. If the executive can just arbitrarily decide that yes, there is, with no recourse, then there is no freedom in that nation.
