Ah okay, the "cancel redirect" is the one to use. I guess it is now automatically showing that option if it's switched on.

The idea of the redirect is so that people who stumble upon your old posts or old account know where you are now. So, if you switch it off, it would make it much harder for people to notice your new account. That's why people tend to just leave it switched on.

But you can switch it off and on as many times as you want, it's not permanent either way.
