To say that any given search on the internet, using almost any browser, has turned into a challenge of sorting out the crap, I have noticed that if I put a date in my search - pre-2020, I get a lot less AI generated garbage.

@Remittancegirl Great tip! I wonder of there's a search query to ask for any site with a date stamp previous to 2020. I often use "site:.edu" if I have garden related questions. That way I only get results from American University extensions and get rid of tons of AI-crap.

@malte @Remittancegirl there is a Boolean search for between or before or after years. I just can’t remember what it is. I feel so old.
