I mean, it won't save humanity specifically but at least they won't blow up Earth under the pretence of building a hyperspace bypass.

Can we make a call to Vulcan for help applying some logic on Earth?Burning our only planet and letting people starve because of the greed of a few individuals doesn't seem like the right path to "Live Long and Prosper."
