    Kære #DKmastodon

According to Den Dansk Ordbog (online) the word 'alf' [ˈalˀf] has a slight stød in it. Is the plural form, alfer, pronounced with a stød?

    Tak!

@wannabemystiker @headword its less of a stød, and more soft.

Very much like the english singular Elf (with a touch of pressure on the f), and the softer 'elves', where the v smothes out the word and you avoid the stød on F.

Hope it helps. Check out the word ellevild, and its origins.
