The first time my bird friend landed on my hand for some food I may have told my husband "I'm a Disney Princess now!!"

I have been leaving my window open with some mealworms just inside the window and my djitti-djitti friend has started coming inside to get them 🥰

My mum lived in London for a while when she was younger, and very firmly disillusioned me about the accuracy of magical, glittery Christmas movies
I still want to go and experience snow at least once though!!

The trade off here is that summer time is absolutely unbearable but winter is quite lovely. Also having never actually seen snow, I'm free to romanticise it to my heart's content and I never have to think of the harsh realities

The idea of winter being the less colourful time of year is so foreign to me. These are my winter colours
(Pink and red are overrepresented in my garden - I'm working on that, but slowly)
