@AberdeenLocal1312 @poor_labsafety Reticulum is an access point agnostic encryption layer that is flexible enough to network through any available data transfer method, i think they joke that it can work with users exchanging sheets of paper. practically speaking, nodes can network using bluetooth, http/i2p/tor, cell, or mesh radio transfer pathways. instead of DNS addresses stored centrally, nodes self assign lxmf addresses and broadcast them. other nodes note the addresses and rebroadcast them through their own network pathways. even with offline devices, nodes with radios or bluetooth can connect to other nodes. as long as any nodes in their extended network are online, offline users' connection will broadcast across the internet. it is in this network that NomadNet transfers encrypted ultralight Micron-format sites that can be written using mixed Micron and Python. MeshChat is a good starting point made by the developer of the Reticulum stack. MeshChatX is a 3rd party expansion of the software with additional tools. Both include a NomadNet browser, which can serve as an access point to sites like ours.
