In December I notified my IG followers I would be leaving that social network and that if they wanted to follow me, they could do so on my blog, phone, e-mail, or mastodon.@renata That's an indicator of how little visibility/engagement you actually have on these algorithmic platforms.
I've treated them as basically yelling into the void. Most of my profiles say "if you want to interact, find me on Mastodon" since I'm neither doomscrolling or checking notifications with any frequency.
