And they - in a way - should not close, because fascists also vote, and you must inform them as well. They just need to cross-post to the fediverse. That is all and no network effect is required.

Tbh, I am not expecting them to close their twitter accounts, but they can easily post stuff here as well. There are projects to use to easily cross-post!

Yesterday at FOSDEM there was a question addressed to Alexandra Geese (a member at the EU parliament from Greens), saying why are not all politicians at fediverse? Her answer was like politicians are saying journalists are there.
LOL! Aren't journalists supposed to be where the politicians are, not the other way around?!
