This whole "cats are mysterious" notion is pure cat propaganda.Catpawganda. I've fallen for it too. A cat I had mysteriously appeared whenever I opened a can. Switched can openers, she started to ignore vegetables but still showed up for tuna. The damn thing probably squeaked ultrasonically, within her hearing range but outside mine.
