@artemis Had to dig a bit for a thing I saw a few days ago that used the phrase, "develop a political imagination".Thought you might like to see the post (it's from bluesky) so I'm adding it here, as it gave me things to think about (like many of your posts do, too).

@artemis I for real heard multiple horns honk and whistles blow this afternoon and stepped outside to see what it was.It was brief and not visible on my street, but we already know to check it out.

This is why I spent the weekend making watercolors. I had to remind myself that we may live in a world of thugs & robbers, but I still exist, & my experience of the world still matters.Exploitation & violence don't erase us or the beauty we find in our lives.I'm not turning to art to forget what's happening or close my eyes. I'm turning to art to remind myself of the things I live for, the things that make resistance worth it.
