@anneapplebaum Even if they don't manage to free all their territory. When Russia is collapsing, they need to give everything back they took and pay restoration for all they've damaged. The only thing that we should keep in mind is, to not make the same mistakes that were done after WWI.

Four years have passed since Russia's full scale invasion of Ukraine.@anneapplebaum Many people might say: "But how can Ukraine free all the occupied territory. They don't have the military to do that."
For that we need to find an example in history, e.g. WWI. At the end of WWI, Russia had surrendered, none of the central powers territory was occupied, all the fighting took place on allied territory, and the front didn't move for months. And yet nobody can argue that the Germany won the WWI. So I think it's very possible for Ukraine to win this war.
