This is so deeply embarrassing and shocking at the same time.@briankrebs Weelll... Decades ago, when I was still traveling to the USA, I found it bizarre that at the Immigrations entrance of the airports, they had an entrance for "Aliens" (instead of "foreigners") - as if we were from Mars or something. So, not particularly new as far as I am concerned.

Now you can keep track of how many billions companies are losing on GenAI.@GossiTheDog I'm surprised that Anthropic's revenue is so close to the bottom. The boss recently bought me an individual Claude subscription and it's been great (I can do 9 times more than with the free version). But there's no way in hell we'd pay real money for any of the others.

The medieval calendar had something like 80 to 100 feast days a year when work simply stopped.@Daojoan Many countries are talking about implementing a 4-day workweek these days.
Also, I lived for a while in Bavaria, Germany, and got the impression that they still have a ginormous number of saint-related holidays there.

If you want on to Microsoft's internal network, CORPNET, publish or own an existing a VSCode extension.@GossiTheDog Also check if they are running Cursor (the AI thing). It's VSCode in disguise, uses the same plugins, can import all the settings, etc.
