@cstross given his opinion and view of “managers” shows just of our touch he really is. Any manager tha needs to “drop by” and doesn’t get what the headphones means is not a good manager anyway! Or maybe it is me I’ve not had a local (as in continent and at least 5hrs TZ difference) manager in more than 21 years

The street I live on is treeless and lined on both sides with 4-story stone buildings, and buses, ambulances, cars, and trucks use it nose-to-tail.
