@JenJen I don't know if this is an option, but if adding a tip jar is an issue how about a page that is a version of "Buy me a coffee" You could have different sizes available.
OK, now I've had my thought for the day, I'm going to lie down in a dark room until the pain and smell of burning brain cell subsides.

You could split the costs across the members and create a single website that would cross market. It wouldn't be easy and would require trust and cooperation but I thought I'd throw the idea out, in case it was of value.
