@jamesthomson probably something political and I try to not get into political discussions on social media because … well it’s a shitshow.

If your cookie dialog doesn’t have a “reject all” button at the top level, or worse, doesn't even have the button at all and makes me uncheck 200 options of “legitimate use” manually, I consider you of highly dubious moral character. -

I have been part of the process where they put a site under investigation (my understanding is they tend to pick on the top 1,000 most popular UK sites).
They did not bring up the mismatch in size of accept versus reject buttons, but they were absolutely on the ball with checking what cookies / platforms were collecting data without proper consent.

It's currently a typical (but compliant) "Allow All" / "Essential Only".
UK law changed and there is no longer a requirement for there to be a "reject all" because "we" are allowed to do some collectiong of data for analytics, A:B testing and some other things.
I'm not sure if we're going to be one of the first, big sites that will be doing this

Another reason to hate #Apple We're seeing more 2018+ MacBook Pro/Air donations — but Apple's T2 chip means even after iCloud sign-out and reset, the firmware stays locked to the original account.@codemonkeymike what is the correct process that I should follow if I am about to donate a Mac with T2 chip in order to avoid this?
