That is incredibly well done.
Can I ask about the toolchain used? It looks amazing.

I think the color depicts the deviation from "average late June temperature". So warmer than usual most places, and colder than usual for example in Portugal... -
is it a good sign when the national weather service runs out of pre-assigned colors to depict temperature?I hear you. As I said, there are fairly simple limits to what A/C can do.
But with the difficult choice of "promote the essential-to-humanity unlimited growth of AI data centers" and "do the absolute bare minimum to try and slow down climate change", it's obvious that a well bought politician needs to accept option 1...

that would be seriously painful to sit on.
Actually (
) a quick kagi search reveals... human pain threshold is somewhere around 44C, injuries can start below 50C and 60C will definitely give you burns!!!
Wowza. -

my understanding is that it will start cooling off this weekend - but I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination. I'm just someone who used to live in Germany and remembers that temperatures 10C lower than today were considered HOT when I was a kid... -

yeah - most portable units are limited to the temperature differential they can manage. Heck, even a typical whole house A/C has clear limits. A couple of years ago when we reached 45C in Portland we ended up setting the indoor temperature to 28C and that had the A/C run essentially non-stop.Good luck to you and your family. Worst case maybe you all can sleep in the same room? Better than trying to sleep in 32C (which feels impossible to me - but that's also a bit of having lived with A/C for the last 25 years)

I am sorry. And you are at "sunny garden" (I know, not funny today... but it's kinda hard to resist).
Please tell me you either have A/C or have access to a space with A/C... -

As you can see in my alt text... I do think that the color choice of essentially "ash" for the center is pretty instructive... -
is it a good sign when the national weather service runs out of pre-assigned colors to depict temperature?@energisch_ oh yes, it's terrible. UK, France, Northern Spain, parts of Germany... this is just a map / visualization that really struck me...
