A comrade from the Aarhusian activist community was brutalised after the counter-protest against a Nazi demonstration on 5 September. She is around 50 and uses a wheelchair. According to her and other witnesses, a police officer stood nearby eating a sandwich. Asked to intervene, he replied that he was “a traffic officer”—street-violence was not his department. The lesson: before you are brutalised, make sure that it is right police department that is nearby. #ACAB #Redox #acap #redox

Yesterday, Nazis and other neo-fascists—especially those from GI—marched alongside so-called “normal Danes” in Copenhagen.

While that is troubling in itself, what shocked me most was that most Danish newspapers and television outlets interviewed these people, painting them as “concerned citizens”.

That normalization of fascism is well on its way is unfortunately nothing new; what is new, at least in Denmark, is that it is no biggie marching along side with explicit nazis. @redox
