I was discussing this with Kali and Tempi the other day. Though both are 7 years old, this is their first Valentine's Day in a household with people.

I told them that we all love each other every day, and that is shown in things like a fresh bowl of water each morning, and cuddling together on the sofa. But Valentine's Day is a special day to be a little more aware of love, and maybe do a special thing for someone you love, like slip them a little treat or give them an extra pet. They say they are both ready for a special little treat to be slipped their way.

It's been wet here since about 8am, so Kali and Tempi are spending time under the house eaves when they go out--and a lot of time indoors looking out the window.
