I agree with the disquiet about the substitution of LLM outputs for our own in-brain work and the distancing of our own learning and consolidation of learning and retention of learning.
But then I'm also aware that ancient philosophers refused to put their teaching into the new technology called 'writing' for similar reasons.
So I'm wondering what kind of reconfiguration of learning might happen; it might not be a binary ...
