I’ve only been using Mastodon (is that the right way to say it? I also see ‘in the fediverse’ a lot ) for a few days, and I’m amazed by how different it feels without the addictive algorithms and overly engaging features! I can almost feel my brain calming down!

Hi! I’m new here, fed up with the more common American social media. I remember the fun old days of surfing the internet, hopping from one homepage to another! For now, Mastodon feels a bit like that. Correct me if you disagree!

Anyway, I love aikido, good stories, saunas, good breakfasts (Scandinavian & British style!), and well-made cocktails. Used to code in HTML/CSS and dream of learning more IT, but time’s always short!
