@jeppe @bonfire maybe one thing which has confused people in the past: circles are not groups. They are more of a tool to structure your relationships, e.g. create specialized feeds. They are private but could be made public. So people usually do no get informed once they are added.
If you expected a groups feature where member can join and interact with each other, this is currently in development and hopefully ready soon. We too, are waiting for it.

Currently, our friends from @bonfire are searching for supporters to be able to sustain their amazing work. They are building a modular social web as part of the Fediverse and they have big plans for the future. Luckily they took #LAUTI on their journey with them.
