@simonjust Sad situation. I was an Apple customer since the mid-80s and only progressively stopped being their customer around 2017, when I finally grew tired of them selling less and less fixable/upgradable device. Switched to Linux, using fully serviceable computers. Never regretted it (I do miss Spotlight, though) and I don't think I would even notice it if they decided to lock my Apple ID.
