You know your stuff! I did read in an article (sorry I didn't save the link) that an advantage of the Gripen is that the source code is available. After recent events, this appears to be a major plus in this rapidly shifting world. My main point is that the US has been deeply compromised and is not a trustworthy partner at this time. Will that change? I don't know.

Good. It's madness to purchase something so essential to national security that can simply be turned off on a whim by the seller. I read that is possible with these F-35s. Kind of like that Starlink thingy owned by a psycho billionaire freak.
