@baileytownsend It's what your instance can see about all of Mastodon - there's no general "all of Mastodon" since you can only see the data through the lens of your instance. But if you're on a large-ish instance, it's fairly close to "all of Mastodon".

@baileytownsend Hashtags are useful in general, though only if you're on an at least mid-sized instance, they're pretty useless on mine since there's no content there. On yours I think it should be fine.

There's also a "Trending" tab that's kind of like What's Hot on Bluesky, here on yours: https://hachyderm.io/explore - again, useless on mine, so I use https://mastodon.social while logged out if I want to check that one or hashtag feeds. The downsides of a personal instance
