Oh Lord yes. I truly believe the state should not have the power to execute people even in the worst cases, but boy do situations like this test my convictions.

Thanks! Sometimes I forget I still have my Halloween name up. Getting towards Christmas someone asked me when I would change it to "Merry" and I was like "Not until we punt these Nazis into prison."

I am sickened to see it but know that it is happening because the resistance is winning. These are desperate, flailing moves that are further alienating even the MAGA base. We WILL put a stop to it. The sooner everybody else gets out in the streets, the fewer people have to die before it ends.

I'll say it again: Trump is an abuser. Everybody who's been a victim and/or worked with victims knows this pattern: as accountability closes in, the abuser lashes out. But they're cowards. They attack the victims. They make all kinds of threats to those bringing accountability but can't follow through on that. So they attack those they were already able to hurt.

At the national/international level, this is what that behavior looks like.

Absolutely nobody wants this shit except #Trump and whoever else is in the #Epstein files. We want the files released; we want healthcare; we do not want war.

Even #MAGA will not tolerate this.

With Trump's every desperate, flailing attempt to stay in power, see the fear behind it. He wouldn't be trying to declare a "voting emergency" if he hadn't already been told no on the SAVE Republicans' Asses Act, even by his own party's senators. They will not nuke the filibuster for this.

And that wouldn't have happened if our movement hadn't already beaten him to a pulp in the battle for public opinion.

This is his next doomed attempt. Stay the course.
