Four days before classes begin. No students, no queue at the door, nobody waiting outside my office. Nothing meets today and nothing meets tomorrow either — and I am still driving in.
Because the week the students arrive is not the week the work starts. It is the week the work becomes visible.
That is the part of the job nobody ever sees, so I am filming it.
