I know there's more chance of finding out Santa is real after all, but here's a thought...
How about the UK govt (and the EU for that matter but, you know, Brexit....) lead by fucking example for once and just leave X / Twitter for good. At this stage there are absolutely NO good reasons to stay - there is no upside.
And once they've grown the balls to do that, they can then ban the fuck out of it.
It really isn't that difficult...
